The officer goes through your N-400 form with you and asks about your answers: your addresses, trips outside the US, work, family, and the yes/no questions on good moral character. Your spoken answers should match the form.

What does the interview cover besides civics?
The officer asks about your application and background. Your N-400 includes your addresses, work, family, travel, and personal history. The civics questions are a separate part of the interview.
Read your submitted form before the appointment. Make sure you understand what each answer says. Practise explaining your own information in plain words.
Why should I review my form?
Review helps you remember what you submitted. Always answer truthfully. If information has changed, explain the change to the officer. Do not repeat an outdated answer just to match the form.
What should I bring?
USCIS lists these items for the naturalization interview:
- Your interview appointment notice.
- Your Permanent Resident Card.
- State-issued identification, such as a driver’s license.
- Valid and expired passports and travel documents covering your trips as a resident.
