How many questions are on the Australian citizenship test?
The test asks 20 multiple-choice questions drawn from the testable section of Our Common Bond. You have 45 minutes, and you need 75% to pass.
What is in the testable section?
Four parts: Australia and its people; Democratic beliefs, rights and liberties; Government and the law; Australian values. This app has 227 practice questions across all four.
Do I have to answer the Australian values questions correctly?
The Department of Home Affairs sets the rules for the values questions, and they are worth checking on their site before your test. The app covers all of them either way, and marks that part separately so you can see where you stand.
Is this just my phone reading the text out?
No. Every one of the 272 lessons is an audio recording made for the app and stored inside it, so it sounds the same on every phone and plays with no signal. You can hear fifteen seconds of one at the top of this page.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Every question, lesson and recording is on your phone. You do not need a signal, and you do not need an account.
What does it cost?
The app offers paid access. Open your store listing to see the current plans and prices, and check the purchase screen before you buy.
